Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey (FACES) Series

The Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey (FACES) provides longitudinal data on a periodic basis on the characteristics, experiences, and outcomes of Head Start children and families as well as the characteristics of the Head Start programs that serve them. FACES also provides information on the relationship among family and program characteristics and outcomes. Several cohorts of FACES have been fielded to date. Each cohort includes a nationally representative sample of Head Start children and their families.

For more information, visit the Administration for Children and Families, Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation FACES Web site.
